Door Protection for Fire Safety
Remember that if you look after a building which is used by the public, you must make sure it meets with fire safety regulations. If your fire doors are chipped and scratched, especially around hinges and joints, then they may not be up to their job. This would mean they put you in breach of fire safety requirements.
Regularly replacing fire doors is not financially feasible, but door protection offers an alternative. Fitting guards and protective panels to fire doors will prevent damage from every day use and keep them compliant.
It might seem an unwelcome expense, but it'll save repair money in the long run. It may even save a life one day, and you can't put a price on that.
